Ginny's Safe House in Redfield, South Dakota serves all people and all ages from physical, verbal, emotional, psychological, financial, or sexual abuse.
We serve Spink, Hand, and Faulk counties in South Dakota.
We at Ginny’s Safe House support survivors of abuse by providing advocacy and support, counseling, housing assistance, job assistance, and a safe haven (shelter).
The safe haven is called Ginny’s House because it was donated by Ginny Stapp’s family. You can learn more about the history of the house here.
In addition to helping survivors of abuse, Ginny’s Safe House also works to educate the community on types of abuse and how to identify them. Education is conducted through presentations at our schools, churches, civic groups, law enforcement, and businesses.
We offer tours of the crisis center to groups and organizations. Give us a call at 605-450-1345 to learn more and schedule a time that would work.
